Xavier Vallée

Founder & CEO of Sapionic; Chief Technology & AI Officer, Tour Partner Group.

Xavier Vallée is Chief Technology and AI Officer at Tour Partner Group, where he is leading a comprehensive three-year digital and AI transformation across the global destination management company. He is also Founder and CEO of Sapionic, an AI management consultancy helping mid-market companies map and deliver AI transformations.

His approach prioritises sustainable value creation by building proper foundations before AI deployment, aligning business, tech and AI roadmaps, and rewiring processes between agents and employees.

What distinguishes Xavier is his rare combination of strategic and technical capability. He personally designs and implements production AI systems (multi-agent workflows, RAG architectures, automated operational processes), giving him first-hand insight into what works and what doesn’t.

With 25 years of commercial leadership experience including C-suite roles at Parkdean Resorts, STA Travel, RAC and Avis Budget Group, Xavier combines strategic expertise with hands-on technical capability.

Xavier speaks candidly about the realities of AI transformation: the critical importance of change management, the need to think differently about AI, and why quick wins without proper foundations rarely deliver lasting value.

Why Sapionic

  • Fluent in three languages.

Boardroom, technical and operational. Someone who has owned a P&L and can still go deep on agent orchestration and data architecture, and call out a flawed roadmap before it burns six months.

  • Vendor-neutral.

We build this for a living. We’re not reselling a platform.

  • Senior-only, and honest.

Partner-led delivery, no junior teams learning on your programme, and a straight answer about where AI doesn’t create value.

How we judge our own work

If you can’t trace the saving to a line in the accounts, assume it isn’t there. A pilot that proves a model can summarise documents is interesting. A pilot that proves it collapses time-to-quote and wins deals is investable. We fund only the second kind.
